In high-performance storage and AI environments, execution is everything. Customers expect precision, reliability, and zero surprises. This is a charter Nudrat Owens takes to heart at Solidigm. As the Product Development Team Lead, Nudrat is responsible for quality, schedule, customer satisfaction, and revenue performance across two product lines designed to deliver high-performance for compute, storage, and AI workloads. She has led her team to adopt a quality-and-customer-first approach.

Nudrat believes that Solidigm’s most valuable asset is its people, and she invests accordingly, mentoring, sponsoring, and creating space for others to contribute freely, without constraints.

That philosophy shapes how she addresses imposter syndrome, a challenge she shares is not uncommon for high-performing women navigating the technology industry.

Nudrat adds that feeling inadequate stifles innovative ideas that never get the chance to flourish. This is why she believes it is crucial to establish avenues that empower women in the workplace.

By tapping into a more diverse talent pool, we significantly increase our chances of discovering truly innovative ideas,”  she explains.

Nudrat draws inspiration from examples of resilience all around her, from Olympic athletes and cancer survivors to educators who persist against the odds. These stories reinforce her commitment to see each obstacle as an opportunity to think differently, solve creatively, and push past perceived limits.

She shares that the launch of Solidigm’s next-gen performance product was a testimony of what can be achieved when teams share a common goal and are empowered by leadership.

Success was addressing the difficulties together and bringing the finish line closer. The journey required sustained collaboration, technical rigor, and trust across teams. It also demanded patience and perseverance when the stakes were as high as the industry’s expectations.

What motivates her most is the team itself. At Solidigm, she’s surrounded by people who are willing to tackle complex problems head-on, collaborate deeply, and stay committed through the hard parts.

For Nudrat, there’s nothing more rewarding than navigating complexity together and emerging stronger on the other side.

She pays it forward both inside and outside the workplace. Inspired by her mother’s deep involvement in community service, Nudrat is passionate about giving back through nonprofit engagement. This includes supporting an organization that provides kidney dialysis at a subsidized cost for patients in under privileged communities in Bangladesh and volunteering in her children’s school activities. She finds energy in watching the next generation embrace technology and shape what comes next.
