Solidigm Committed: Partnering on Sustainable Solutions for Data Storage

As a new company, Solidigm is committed to embedding sustainable business practices throughout our business - from our products and technologies to our facilities, our communities, and our global supply chain.

To demonstrate this commitment, we have joined three associations that are helping to define industry standards for sustainability: Circular Drive Initiative (CDI), National Association for Environmental, Health & Safety, and Sustainability Management (NAEM), and the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA),

Our participation in these coalitions better enables us to deploy responsible supply chain practices that further our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals.

Circular Drive Initiative (CDI) is a partnership of global leaders in digital storage, data centers, sustainability, and blockchain collaborating to reduce e-waste by enabling, driving, and promoting the secure reuse of storage hardware. We chose to become a member of CDI to collaborate with industry experts, academia, customers, and peer companies on how to create a circular economy that promotes a more efficient use of resources and reduces the impact of memory products on the environment.

National Association for Environmental, Health & Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) Management (NAEM) empowers corporate leaders to advance environmental stewardship, create safe and healthy workplaces, and promote global sustainability. NAEM provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and sustainability reports, benchmarking data, and a library of Environmental, Health, Safety, & Sustainability (EHSS) white papers. They also provide frequent virtual meetings and presentations about EHSS and ESG.

Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) regulates members and their suppliers across critical CSR considerations, including labor, the health and safety of our workforce, environmental impact, ethical sourcing, and management systems. RBA is an industry organization committed to corporate social responsibility in supply chains. Many of our customers and suppliers are also members. This helps us to work together to achieve sustainability goals. 

While these associations will help us collaborate with our industry, suppliers, partners, and customers as we launch our data storage solutions, they are a first step to helping us become a more responsible company. As we unleash the unlimited potential of data to fuel human advancement, we're also committed to contributing to a more sustainable future for data storage.
